Center Office Assistant
Volunteering as an office assistant is a great way to give back to your community! The Office assistants perform a variety of tasks, from answering phones and filing paperwork to greeting guests and providing customer service. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and talents to make a difference in your community. Office hours are 1 PM to 4 PM Mon, Tues and Wed. The schedule is flexible and training will be provided.
Welcoming Team
Our Welcoming Team will make sure all feel comfortable and at home from the moment they step through the doors. You will be there to answer any questions about our community, help folks connect with other members and show how to get involved in our many activities and events. Our goal is to ensure that newcomers feel like part of the community from day one. Training and name tags are provided. Commitment time is Sunday mornings from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Sunday Gathering Production Team
Our Production Team is what connects us to the world. On Sundays, they handle the sound in the building, as well as online, the filming of the Sunday Gathering, and the broadcast of it on Facebook and YouTube. You do NOT have to be experienced to join the team, and it is a great group of people to work with. Some computer experience helpful.
Keeper of the Altar
Keeper of the Altar is an important and sacred position. The altar is at the center of the pulpit and conveys the energy of beauty and harmony to all who view it. We have all the materials needed, you bring your artistic expression. This is a once-monthly commitment for 3 months.
Book Boutique Assistant
Basic cashiering for 15-30 mins after Sunday gatherings.
Kitchen Angel
Kitchen Angels are a team of helpers who set up the kitchen on Sundays. They make coffee, set out snacks, clean up afterwards. It is about 20-30 minutes of volunteer time per shift. Great way to meet people before and after the Gathering.
